T-type panels need more than an overall length and width. A section view helps identify the main panel, branch position, face orientation and the adjoining panels.
- Dimension the main section and branch separately.
- Mark all facing materials and thicknesses.
- Show the joint or connection on each edge.
- Identify openings, fixing points and panel direction.
